About

Michael loves to make great photographs. He also can fix your car, your computer, erect a brick wall and is a pretty darn good cook according to his wife. Michael grew up in a small town in Germany but quickly discovered that a) big cities are more fun and b) other countries even more. To date he can claim to have visited over 20 and is still counting. You could say he likes to travel, although being there is usually much more fun than getting there given the leg room on airplanes and him being on the tall side. If time and money permits, Michael loves to race motorcycles around a track or bicycles on lonely country roads for hours on and with a bright smile on his face (although the smile can quickly change to a more serious look if somebody passes him. That’s when the competitive side comes out). Photography helped Michael to explore off limit areas with the excuse that art is allowed to do everything which was greeted by lots of disagreement of security personnel but never lead to any serious trouble (so far) plus the awesome feeling standing in the darkroom and seeing that image magically appear on the paper.
